Alternatives to Dermal Fillers

Alternatives to Dermal Fillers

What do you experience by age 40? Some maybe even by the age of 50 or 60. Sag? Loose skin? Loss of collagen? Excess fat in the lower face? By the age of 40, do you look and feel older or younger? What is your skin age? What skin damage has occurred? Sun, pollution, lack of good skin care products, inadequate nutrition, hydration, poor sleep quality, less exercise and activities?

Fillers create a wonderful contour and volume but don’t build collagen, or give you glow.

So, why do fillers appear to stop working? As we age, the fat pad compartments or spaces between the fat pads widen, which brings the skin in a downward trajectory. If this sounds familiar you might try a few different effective alternatives.

The all natural Protein Rich Fibrin, PRF or EZ gel )which is obtained by mixing the growth factors of liquid EZPRF and the Albumin of Plasma). This bring about regenerative properties, collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation. Another option is to combine a synthetic filler with PRF for added volume.

Another intervention to build collagen and improve skin health is microneedling, or collagen induction therapy. A PRF add onto microneedling is a great bang for your buck. The natural healing properties (in the PRF) with re-surfacing (from microneedeling) provides instant rejuvenation.

PDO threads are another option to reduce the skin sag and to begin the process of building collagen and elastin. PDO threads are injected in the skin subdermally, tightening and building natural collagen as they dissolve. It provides the structure and building blocks that is lost due to sun damage, age and pollution.

Remember, the one thing to looking youthful is what you do on the inside. Please continue with diet, exercise, activities, sleep, and a positive attitude.
