How does Sculptra work?

Sculptra is a special kind of filler made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). PLLA is a biostimulator—meaning that it promotes the growth of natural collagen. Collagen is a protein found within your skin that is responsible for its elasticity and volume. As your body absorbs Sculptra, it starts producing new collagen and rebuilding the existing collagen fibers.
